Dear readers,

Thanks for supporting ScienceAlert as we continued to grow during 2008. We're taking a much needed break over the Christmas holidays but we'll back on 5 January 2009 to keep you up to date with all the latest Australasian research breakthroughs.

Over the break we're going to be working hard on a new site layout that will be launched in the coming months, so keep an eye out for a new and improved ScienceAlert early next year!
